The hotel Cactus lies approx. 1 km from the Mackenzie Beach, a sandy beach. At the beach are sun umbrellas and sun loungers for a fee available. The tourist centre is about 2 km away. The town Larnaca is around 2 km away (Limassol around 70 km, Nicosia around 45 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approx. 2 km from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached after around 1 km. It is 2 km from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants.

The following attractions can be reached from the hotel:

St. Lazarus Church (approx. 2 km away), Salt Lake (approx. 2 km away), Hala Sultan Tekke (approx. 5 km away) and Kamares Aqueduc (approx. 5 km away).
